What personal information do we collect?
Kenkosô collects information in two ways: (1) directly (e.g., when you provide information to sign up for a newsletter or to register to make comments on a blog); and (2) indirectly (e.g., through our website technology).

We may collect and process the following information:

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site. This includes register to request services, newsletters, register for an event or requesting additional information or technical articles. The pages that collect this type of information can provide additional information about why your data are needed and how they will be used. You decide whether or not to provide them.
  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

We may ask you to respond to questionnaires that we use for research purposes, although you are not obliged to do so.

In any comments or other content that you submit or post on the kenkosô site we collect.

  • Information about your computer, including (when available) your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration, to filter traffic, search for user domains and reporting on statistics.

  • Details of your visits to our site, the pages you view and resources that you access or download, including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, blogs and other communication data.

Please see below information on cookies. When such information relates to you or identify you, we will treat as "personal data".

Do we share your personal data with third parties?
We will not sell or grant personal data to third parties. We just share personal information with our service providers and associate consultants. However, there are occasions when we need to share or disclose personal data supplied by you for a specific purpose, for example:
Disclose or share your personal data to comply with any legal obligation or to enforce or apply our Terms of Use; or to protect the rights, property or safety of kenkosô, our customers, or others.

What about sensitive personal data?
We generally seek not to collect sensitive personal data through this site. In limited cases when we seek to collect such data, we will do so in accordance with local requirements for data privacy laws.

What about data security?
We take the necessary steps to maintain the security of personal data collected through the kenkosô site. You should understand that the open nature of the Internet is such that information and data may flow over networks connecting you to our system without security means and may be accessed and used by people other than those to whom the data is intended.

Our site may contain links to and from the websites of our partners, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies or websites. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

Which are your rights?
You can exercise your right to prevent marketing communications to being sent to you by not checking specific boxes on the forms we use to collect your personal data, or using mechanisms available in e-mails we send to you. You can also exercise the right to cancel the sending of marketing communications to you, or have your personal information removed from our databases for relationship management (CRM) at any time using the Contact Us form. If you do not find what you need here, or have questions about our use of your personal data, please use the Contact Us form.

What are cookies?
Cookies are text files containing small amounts of information that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website. Cookies are returned to the originating site at each subsequent visit, or to another site that recognizes that cookie. Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the user's device.

Cookies perform many different tasks, such as allowing your navigation through pages efficiently, remembering your preferences and in general, improving the user experience. They can also help ensure that advertisements and other content that you access online are most relevant to you and your interests. They can be set by the website you are viewing (known as user cookies) or by another entity, such as an advertising network (known as third-party cookies). They are session or persistent cookies. Session cookies are temporary and once you close the browser window, they are deleted from your device. Persistent cookies remain on your device for a longer period and are used by a website to recognize your device when you return.

By using our site, you agree that we may place cookies on your device. If you want to delete existing cookies on your device, you'll be able to do it using your browser options. If you want to block future cookies on your device, you can change your browser setting to do so.

Social media sites of third parties may record information about you, for example, when you click an "Add" or "Like" button. We have no control over these sites or their activities. You can find information on social media on those sites. We recommend that you read the terms of use and privacy policy of such sites before using them.

We send commercial e-mail to individuals in our client database or to companies whom we want to develop or maintain a business relationship with. Our e-mails usually include cookies and similar technologies that allow us to know if you have opened, read, or deleted the message, and the links you clicked. By clicking on a link in a marketing e-mail you receive from kenkosô, we will also use a cookie to record which pages you have opened and the content that you downloaded from our web site, even if you are not registered or logged in our site.
